Wheelchair Seating & Positioning Techniques to Promote Engagement in Long-Term Care

This course will provide the basic clinical information needed to evaluate clients for seating and positioning needs within a long-term care setting. We’ll discuss clinical information on the evaluation, recommendations, and strategies for working with limited inventory and strategies for advocating for patients.

Brenda has over 25 years of experience in occupational therapy, working with the geriatric population in skilled nursing, assisted living, and home care settings. Her focus has been on seating and positioning as well as management of acute and chronic conditions.
